Drone roof surveys, booked on their own

- No scaffolding or laddersSafer, quicker, and nothing touches a fragile roof.
- Photos and video you keepClose-up shots of every problem area, sent to you after the flight.
- A clear written reportWhat we found, how urgent it is, and what we'd recommend. No obligation to use us for the work.
Ideal before buying a house, after a storm, for insurance claims, for landlords checking a property, and on tall or hard-to-reach roofs.

Why we still use real lead
Lead has kept water out of London's churches, terraces and townhouses for centuries. Cheaper substitutes exist, and we'll always tell you about them, but nothing else lasts as long or looks as right on a period roof.
- It lasts a lifetime, and then some
- Properly fitted lead can protect a roof for well over a century. Much of the lead still on London's older buildings was laid before anyone reading this was born.
- Shaped by hand, with no weak joints
- Lead is soft enough to be dressed around chimneys, bays and valleys in one piece, so there are fewer seams for water to find.
- It protects itself
- Over time lead forms a dull grey patina that shields it from the weather and blends into slate and brick.
- Nothing goes to waste
- Lead is fully recyclable. Offcuts and old lead we strip out go back to be made into new sheet.

Questions
Do you charge for inspections?
An inspection is £75, which covers our time on site and your photo report. If you go ahead with the work, we take the full £75 off your final bill, so it only costs you anything if you choose someone else.
Can you work on listed or period buildings?
Yes. Traditional leadwork and natural slate are a big part of what we do, and we're used to working with conservation officers.
Can I book a drone survey without any repair work?
Yes. Drone surveys are a separate service. You get the photos, video and a written report whether or not you use us for any work afterwards.
Will you deal with my insurer?
We can provide photos and a written report for your claim, and speak to your insurer directly if you'd like.
How soon can you start?
Emergency repairs are usually same or next day. Planned work is typically booked two to four weeks ahead.
